    Great Question!\u00a0 Since you are missions-minded, the majority of your time will be spent on the mission field ministering the love of Jesus to people in desperate need of that love.<\/span><\/p>\n

    But that\u2019s the point of the program. If God is calling you to missions, He will prepare you for that work.\u00a0 And that is the whole point of this program. It\u2019s the starting point in your journey. It is the response to the prompting of God on your heart that He may be calling you as a missionary.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Costs can vary, depending upon the program but Black Rock is here to help you! Black Rock can fund up to one-half the cost of the program. You will be responsible for the other half. Black Rock will offer a guided program to help you fund your half of the cost. This will be done by fund-raising and job opportunities.<\/span><\/p>\n

    As a general rule, Black Rock is simply coming alongside young adults in the congregation who are seeking to explore the call of missions that God has put on their hearts. This is done through an agency that has a predesigned internship established. Black Rock would be acting as a facilitator, mentor, and shepherd as we seek to lovingly guide you through your gap year\/internship.<\/span><\/p>\n
